1883 Peabody House

The Mushroom

Occupancy : 2
The Mushroom is a cozy, ground-level room tucked beside the Peabody House’s large wraparound porch. It features a private entrance on the back side of the house and fewer stairs to climb than the other rooms in the house. Inside, you’ll find red brick floors, towering ceilings, and 5 large windows looking out over downtown Eureka Springs and the Peabody House garden. For guests who prefer more privacy, the large, velvet curtains can be drawn on each window. The room is adorned with mushroom themed accents and natural curiosities. The snack nook offers a mini fridge, microwave, keurig, and complimentary snacks for guests. Note: Because The Mushroom is on the ground floor of the house, you may occasionally hear people walking around the porch. The kitchen is also on the ground floor, so you may also hear our innkeeper preparing breakfast in the morning.
